General Terms

Welcome to The Delta. By accessing or using our services, including participation in our Founder Network, Mentor Network, or Investor Network, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and The Delta DE GmbH ("The Delta," "we," "us," or "our"). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

The Delta Mentor Network

1. Purpose of the Program

The Delta Mentor Network ("the Program") connects experienced founders, operators, and industry professionals ("Mentors") with early-stage founders across The Delta ecosystem.

Mentors support founders through curated introductions, Office Hours, and knowledge-sharing formats designed to provide practical, experience-led guidance. The Program is built on trust, relevance, and mutual respect.

The Delta Mentor Network consists of two distinct mentor roles, each with different expectations and benefits:

  • Ecosystem Mentors
  • Resident Mentors

2. Mentor Types & Definitions

Ecosystem Mentor

Ecosystem Mentors are experienced founders, operators, or advisors who support ventures across The Delta ecosystem on a flexible, opt-in basis.

Their involvement is typically remote or ad hoc and focused on curated introductions where there is a clear fit between the mentor's expertise and a founder's needs.

Ecosystem Mentors are not required to be based on campus and do not have recurring time commitments.

Resident Mentor

Resident Mentors are a curated, limited group of mentors who are actively embedded in the Delta Campus community in Berlin.

They support founders primarily through structured, on-site Office Hours and are expected to maintain a consistent presence and level of engagement with ventures building at Delta Campus.

3. Participation Requirements

A. Ecosystem Mentor Requirements

By joining the Program as an Ecosystem Mentor, mentors agree to:

  • Responsiveness: Respond in a timely manner to curated introduction requests.
  • Opt-in Engagement: Engage only in introductions they explicitly accept. There is no obligation to accept every request.
  • Follow-through: If an introduction is accepted, communicate professionally and respectfully with the founder.
  • Profile Accuracy: Keep mentoring preferences, expertise areas, and availability reasonably up to date.

Ecosystem Mentors are not required to attend Office Hours or participate in on-site activities.

B. Resident Mentor Requirements

By joining the Program as a Resident Mentor, mentors agree to:

  • Minimum Participation: Participate in at least two (2) Office Hour days within each six (6) month period to maintain active Resident Mentor status.
  • Office Hours Format:
    • Office Hours are hosted on-site at Delta Campus, Berlin
    • Each Office Hour day typically includes four (4) 1:1 sessions
    • Each session is approximately sixty (60) minutes
    • Founders are curated and matched based on relevance and expertise
  • Community Engagement: Uphold The Delta's values of collaboration, professionalism, inclusivity, and respect in all interactions on campus.

Failure to meet participation requirements may result in non-renewal or reclassification of mentor status.

4. Membership Benefits

2. How Matching Works

  • The founder's submitted information and preferences
  • The stated interests of mentors, investors, and other network participants

If they decline, no introduction is made.

3. No Guarantees of Matches or Introductions

It is important to understand:

The Delta will:

  • Treat founder information confidentially
  • Use personal and venture details only for matching and introduction purposes
  • Request consent before sharing founder information with potential matches

All data is processed according to The Delta Privacy Policy.

6. Conduct Expectations

Founders agree to:

  • Interact professionally and respectfully
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding information shared with them
